Overview

Daybeat is a task manager for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Your tasks stay on your devices and in your private iCloud account. We do not sell your personal information.

Data you create

Tasks, projects, tags, notes, reminders, and attachments are stored on your device. With iCloud enabled, the same data syncs to your private CloudKit database (iCloud.app.cadence.tasks). We do not run our own servers for your task content.

Optional permissions

Permission	Purpose
Notifications	Task reminders (scheduled on device)
Calendar	Show events in Today (only if you allow)
Face ID / Touch ID	App Lock (processed by the system)
Photos	Task attachments (optional)
Location	Geofence reminders (optional; only if you add a place per task)

Location data stays on your device and in your iCloud container; we do not collect it on our servers.

What we do not collect

No advertising or tracking SDKs
No analytics sold to third parties
No separate Daybeat account — sync uses your Apple ID via CloudKit

Export & deletion

Export JSON or CSV from Settings in the app. Delete the app to remove local data. iCloud data follows Apple’s iCloud controls.
